Half and Half

This was my first assignment for one of my classes this year, it was supposed to be due today but then the campus was closed down due to the weather! So now I think it's pretty much finished.

The project is a self-portrait that involves a transformation into another character. It was pretty open ended and I ended up choosing a project that semi-reflects my racial makeup, half white, half Asian, so neither side is a true representation of myself.

For simplicity, i decided to go with the blond hair, blue eyes even though I somehow doubt that's what I would look like if I were entirely white. The Asian side just ended up looking mostly like me since I have the skin tone and black hair. I altered some features though so it isn't quite.

I didn't know how to separate the two halves so I just did something that looks like water running down the middle. It's a nice, calm effect I guess! Also looks cool/I am obsessed with water effects?

A half and half is also a frequently ordered item at my university's dining hall which comprises fried chicken and french fries (or tater tots)!!! I had one yesterday/early this morning!!

Also this is only 15% of the original size.. I have to print it out on like 24"x40" paper... ;____;
